Mental Health First Aid 

Mental health first aid is the help provided to a person developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional help is received or until the crisis resolves ( Kitchener & Jorm, 2002 ).

I keep courses in Mental Health First Aid. It can be divided into four evenings and two full days. The course is 12 hours but can be extended to 15 hours because it has been shown that there is much to talk about. Individuals, schools, businesses and organizations benefit greatly from learning more about how to identify symptoms on mental illness and how to help people with mental health problems. We meet people everyday and it’s likely that someone around us suffers from some kind of mental illness. We often don’t know how to respond and this course will help you take adequate actions.
